South Alabama volleyball has played its home matches in Jaguar Gymnasium since its inaugural season of 1974. USA has posted a 133-181 record at home entering the 2008 season. USA’s best home record was a 11-0 mark during the 1982 season.
Located in the HPELS Building, Jaguar Gym has also hosted USA men’s and women’s basketball games, the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament, and the Alabama High School Athletic Association Southwest Regional Basketball Tournament as well as other high school basketball events.

Jaguars Boast Success at Home
In 30-plus years, the Jags have an all-time record of 139-186 at Jag Gym.
USA’s first, and only, home matches of the 1974 season were as the hosts of the USA Invitational Volleyball Championship on Nov. 2. In a round-robin setup, the Jags defeated both Gulf Coast Junior College and West Florida 2-0 to capture first place.
Over the years, the Jag Gym has hosted big events in USA volleyball history. The gym hosted a record USA home crowd of 450 on Oct. 6, 1998, when the Jags fell in a 3-0 match to Alabama.
In sum, Jag Gym has hosted seven tournaments for USA volleyball, between the years 1974-91. The past fourseasons, the Lady Jags have again hosted teams in Jag Gym.

From Interstate I-65
Take Exit 3 (Airport Boulevard) off Interstate 65.
This is the same exit for the Mobile Regional Airport.
Go west on Airport Blvd. for 2.6 miles.
Turn right (north) onto University Blvd. and go 0.8 miles.
Turn left at the fourth traffic light (USA South Drive)
Turn right onto Alumni Dr.
Look for signs directing you to Meisler Hall

From Mobile Regional Airport
Turn left (east) onto Airport Blvd. (toward downtown Mobile).
Go approximately 4 miles.
Turn left (north) onto University Blvd. and go 0.8 miles.
Turn left at the fourth traffic light (USA South Drive)
Turn right onto Alumni Dr.
Look for signs directing you to Meisler Hall
Park in Visitor’s parking lot 
From U.S. Highway 98
Turn south onto Schillinger Road (toward Mobile Regional Airport)
Go approximately 5 miles.
Turn left (east) onto Airport Blvd.
Go approximately 3.5 miles
Turn left (north) onto University Blvd. and go 0.8 miles
Turn left at the fourth traffic light (USA South Drive)
Turn right onto Alumni Dr.
Look for signs directing you to Meisler Hall
